Treasure Troves – A Search for Clues Through the Exhibition
Cycle I
Workshop
The legend of a somewhat forgetful guardian spirit guides the pupils in a playful way to the various treasures on display. At each station, they learn what constitutes a real treasure, why treasures are hidden, and how archaeological research unearths treasures today. In order to solve the tasks, the romantic notion of a treasure hunt is contrasted with reality. For example, the truth behind legends is discussed, and the question of whether it is even permitted to search for treasures and then keep them is addressed. At the end, the pupils also find their own treasure.
