How did people in the past imagine the Earth and the universe? Since when has it been known that the Earth revolves around the Sun? And what were instruments such as astrolabes or armillary spheres used for? The objects from cabinets of curiosities tell stories of voyages of discovery, scientific curiosity and the quest to explain nature and the cosmos.
As part of the programme, pupils follow in the footsteps of significant scientific discoveries and explore selected items from the collection. Through globes, measuring instruments and curious objects, they learn how people in centuries past sought to understand the world.
