2003 - Encounter
Description
The next generation of museum staff was also inspired by the history of the use of the church building when designing the new permanent exhibition. Originally, the nave of the mendicant church was open to all as a space for the layman. In keeping with this idea, a cafeteria, to which all were welcome, opened in the side aisle. A viewing of the objects was free of charge and so attracted visitors to an encounter with the new permanent exhibition.
