A New Visual Identity for the Historical Museum Basel

The Historical Museum Basel has introduced a new corporate design. With the logo "HMB", we are embracing an abbreviation that many people already know – one that also represents our three venues: Haus zum Kirschgarten, Musikmuseum and Barfüsserkirche.

The logo is complemented by a versatile colour palette, a fresh visual language and a highly legible typeface. Our communication materials have also been redesigned: the biannual programme, the annual report and the website place the needs of our visitors centre stage – clear, informative and offering glimpses behind the scenes.
