Portrait of Daniel Hey (1735-1780)

The sitter was the son of Friedrich Hey (1699-1780) (portrait at left, no.
10). He is wearing a purple silk robe, a white vest with green stripes, and a white morning bonnet
and a white morning hood. In his left hand he holds a snuff box. On
table lies a calico fabric printed with the map of Poland of the "Fridauer Ziz
and Cotton Fabric", marked with the year 1775. Daniel Hey managed the Meyer-Hey
& Comp in Vienna and was the owner of the Friedau Ziz and Cotton Fabric.
