Various clockmakers made wall clocks, table clocks, pendulums and floor clocks in addition to pocket clocks. The floor standing clock by Enderlin (window wall), made around 1710, is the earliest known clock with a musical movement made in Switzerland. The most precious Basel clock is the turret clock by Niklaus d'Annone, both in terms of the complex displays and the elaborate case.
