Johann Jakob Zeller (1701-1778) is documented in the collection with various pendulums and night clocks as well as a pocket watch. The wooden clock cases of the pendulums were initially made by local carpenters. From the middle of the century, Johann Jakob Zeller and Johann Georg Krampe (1729-1790) obtained their fashionably crafted pendulum cases from Paris. Cartel clocks, spring-driven wall clocks in a cartouche-shaped case, can be traced in France from about 1730
