Supraport

The supraport depicts a procession of coopers in St. Johanns-Vorstadt. The procession is led by eight musicians in blue tunics. They are followed by the coopers (Fassbinder) in red pants, white shirts and stockings. They are decorated with red sashes and crown-like headdresses. Two coopers balance full wine glasses in hoops, twelve others carry barrel hoops. At the end of the procession is a wagon with barrels pulled by three horses, escorted by six coopers in red pants, blue tailcoats and black tricorns. On the barrels squat a coopers crowned as Bacchus and a harlequin.
