The semicircular grille with heart-shaped inserts consists of round bars intersecting in a diamond shape and riveted in a flat iron frame. From the irregularities in the material, it can be concluded that everything was worked by hand from a lump. Round bars are common in the Renaissance period, the acanthus decoration on the vertical subdivision indicates that it was made in the German late Renaissance.
