Anna Maria Heitz-Debary (1749-1808) married the Basel banker Christoph Heitz-Debary (1738-1786) after the 1778/79 divorce from Johann Rudolf Burckhardt (1750-1813), the builder of the Haus zum Kirschgarten. The wedding probably took place as early as 1780, since Christoph Heitz-Debary had already purchased the Haus zur Fortuna in Basel with her on April 20, 1780.
