Objekt 1
Merchant store
Description
This early merchant's store captivates with its intense colorfulness concentrated on a few shades. The original components of the merchandise, such as sugar loaves, cans, and barrels, are all made of wood, mostly turned, and then painted in color. This concentration on wood as a material is typical of the toy production of the Erzgebirge, where wood was available in almost unlimited quantities.
