"Lieny, the child's friend"
Description
The "crooked Lieni" (actually: Leonhard Vögtlin), a man admitted to the poorhouse in the Klingental in 1808, was especially popular with the children because of his good-naturedness and because of his stories and songs. Like Niggi Münch and Boppi Keller, he was very often to be found on the streets of the city.
