"Daniel, the well-wisher"
Description
Daniel, an inmate of the Basel Bürgerspital in the 1830s, was known to offer congratulations with flowers on special occasions, thus earning a small tip. The design for this figure, a surviving watercolor, was created by Anton Sohn himself.
