1927 - Accumulation
Description
The museum practice of the time was to display everything that was owned in the exhibition rooms. It was less about individual pieces and more about showing the total accumulation of objects. The nave, the galleries, the choir and the sacristy were filled with countless "antiquities". However, the historical rooms in the side aisles, in which interiors from the past were reproduced, left a greater impression than the otherwise dominant militaria.
