Two plates with Burckhardt coat of arms
Description
Besides strict ornamental borders, the centrally placed family coat of arms forms the main decoration of these plates. Since an alliance coat of arms is missing, the service cannot be assigned to a specific owner within the widely branched Basel Burckhardt family. The count's crown above the coat of arms is probably due to an error in ordering.
