Pot with a saucer

Description

Painted with Indian flowers, rim ornament of lattice border in iron red. Since the 18th century, Meissen has used the term "Indian flowers" to describe floral painting that is based on Asian models (strong abstraction, "exotic" coloring, etc.), but is not a copy in the true sense of the word.
