Pocket watch with calendar indications
Description
This clock in silver case has a large second hand from the center. The blue and white enameled base dial has small dials to indicate the hours and minutes, the days of the week from Monday to Sunday, and the days of the month from 1 to 31. The signature on the base dial looks similar to the signature of the famous marine chronometer designer Ferdinand Berthoud (1727-1807) in Paris. A branch of the Berthoud family was based in Geneva.
