Description
At the beginning: sharp fire decoration in blue and white
First, the air-dried vessel is fired at a temperature of about 900° C (bisque firing). Then it is covered with a light tin glaze, which combines with the porous surface. The decoration is painted on it. In the subsequent glaze firing, the glaze and decoration are fired at the same time at a temperature of about 1100° C. The blue color is best suited for such high temperatures.
