Neck clock in the shape of a cross

Description

The case of this clock is made of amethyst glass in a fire-gilded metal setting. Its dial is made of engraved silver. It is said that the clock belonged to the King of Naples. Another clock by Aymé de Combe is in the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore.
