Leyden bottle

Description

The Leiden bottle is a glass vessel covered with metal inside and outside. The inner layer is connected to a thick wire for easy charging, which ends in a brass ball on the outside. With the help of the Leiden bottle, electricity could be stored, amplified and transported for the first time.
