Heart-shaped box with the depiction of a pair of lovers
Description
The shape and decorative motifs of this box also suggest a wedding gift. The heart-shaped lid depicts a pair of lovers in a seascape. The medallions on the rim show allegorical representations with the titles "Ich hoffe, solange ich lebe", "Tugend über Windt all müh", "Tugendt vergnügt", "Ich sähe Dich an solang ich kan".
