Glass cooler
Description
In addition to wine, glasses were also cooled in specially designed glass coolers filled with cold water or ice water. The wine glasses were placed upside down in these vessels so that their goblets were cooled. Rounded incisions in the wall accommodated the stems of the glasses and thus ensured their fixation.
