Depiction of a forest pavilion on the Erndhalden
Description
An inscription at the bottom of the picture suggests that this drawing was made by Johann Rudolf Burckhardt (1750-1813) himself. It reads: "Am Rudolfs Tage 1812. J. Rud. Burckhardt". According to this, the picture was created on April 17, the name day for the second first name of the head of the household, at Burckhardt's country estate.
