Crystal chandelier

The impressive chandelier was probably made in Munich and comes from Basel property. It consists of six hoops with vine tendrils made of pressed, gilded brass sheet. On them there are 10 chandelier arms decorated with carved wooden ornaments. Light refracts off the diamond- and cone-shaped hangings made of cut crystal glass, causing them to shimmer in a variety of colors.
