Clock with figure and bird ostrich
Description
The richly decorated clock depicts an ostrich being led on a chain by a man in a loincloth and feather headdress, an "Indian". The clock is carried on the back of the bird. The figures are cast in silver and gilded, the man's skin is colored brown with translucent enamel. Case and figures are set with pearls, rubies and sapphires.
