Camera lucida after Wollaston
Description
The instrument, consisting of a square glass prism, a brass stand, and two lenses (one collecting and one diverging), is an optical aid for drawing and tracing. William Hyde Wollaston (1766-1828) first constructed a camera lucida in 1807.
