Young woman at the harpsichord (Klimperkasten)
Description
In the so-called Klimperkästen, the crank on the base is used to make the figures move via a mechanism inside. In this figure, the arms are raised as if playing the harpsichord. At the same time, a string inside the box is plucked, which gives a sound and led to the name of this genre.
