Woman with back carrier ("La Hotteuse")
Description
This woman from the common population is not depicted for her own sake. In the decoration of the panel, the hollow figure, closed at the bottom, served as a vessel for fresh flowers. Thus, a young florist appeared on the panel with fresh flowers sticking out of her basket.
