Description
The ceremony depicted in the drawing is probably the annual commemoration of the student fraternity "Zofingia" in honor of the fallen heroes of the Battle of St. Jacob. The subject is probably the St. Jakob celebration of 27 August 1844 with Dr. Carl Brenner as the keynote speaker.
