Vase clock
Description
The clock case in the form of a vase made of porcelain and bisque porcelain comes from the Niderwiller manufactory near Strasbourg. The vessel with dark blue background and rich gold painting shows small medallions with colorful landscapes and a mark of Comte de Custine (1740-1793). The unsigned movement is inside the vase. The time is indicated by two rotating numerical rings.
