Two war veterans
Description
Anton Sohn transposed a caricature by Eugene Traviès (1804-1859): Two war-wounded veterans of the Napoleonic army struggle with balance. The request "Pass me your arm, comrade" has a very bitter punchline in view of the arm amputations of the two soldiers.
