Two console tables in Louis XVI style
Description
The two console tables to the right and left of the main entrance to this room, painted gold and white, with red and gray spotted marble tops and four fluted legs each, also originally belonged to the "Goldener Löwen" house at Aeschenvorstadt 4. Characteristic of Louis XVI taste are the laurel garlands drawn through eyelets, the relief medallions with profile breast images, the urn standing in the lower area, and the gilding differentiated in tone.
