Toy kitchen
Description
For a long time, toy kitchens were only known as part of dollhouses. Separate kitchens appeared only at the end of the 18th century and show the importance of this room. This closable kitchen with its hinged roof is dated 1788 on the chimney (hidden) - it is therefore one of the oldest preserved kitchens
it is thus one of the oldest preserved separate toy kitchens. A charming detail is the gate in the left corner, where poultry was kept until it was used in the kitchen.
