Description
During the political turmoil of 1848, Hieronymus Hess caricatured the overthrow of the French government of Jules Polignac in 1830 with the watercolor "Eine Käsedruckete": The bourgeois and the artisan together try to push the nobility in the middle off the bench. The clergy is already down.
