Description
The relief decoration with scales, introduced by Gottlieb Friedrich Riedel (1724-1784) in Ludwigsburg and typical for dishes of this manufactory, corresponds completely to the Rococo sense of form. This also applies to the turned lid knob and the spout in the form of an animal's mouth.
