Snuff box with relief enamel
Description
Such precious enamel boxes, where the figures or even ornaments are raised and gilded, are usually attributed to the workshop of Pierre Froméry in Berlin. Froméry, a religious refugee from France, specialized in precious weapons, but also traded in boxes and jewels.
