Description
Carlo Böcklin (Basel 1870-1937 Fiesole near Florence) was a son of the painter Arnold Böcklin. Originally Carlo Böcklin created these hand puppets for his own children, but they soon went into mass production. Through them he became one of the founders of artistically designed hand puppets.
