Pocket watch
Description
The case of this extremely flat watch is engraved with "rocailles" (shell-like ornaments), the back cover partially enameled with a peasant dance motif. The white enameled dial shows plain Roman numerals. Building such extraordinarily flat watches is very complex and still a great challenge for watchmakers today.
