Pocket watch
Description
The case of this clock shows in grisaille painting the mythological scene of Venus stealing the arrows from the sleeping Cupid. The background is guilloché and bright blue enamel. Since a number is missing on the movement, it does not come from the ateliers of Abraham-Louis Breguet (1747-1823) in Paris.
