Neuchâtel pendulum with automaton
Description
The clock, probably made in the late 18th century, was renewed at the beginning of the 19th century by a certain Andres Rast in Sempach. The movement is equipped with an hour and quarter strike with repetition. The automaton moves a total of five figures: three soldiers stand on a balustrade and on the hour two ladies appear from the side. During the hour repetition, the three soldiers swing their sword or a club.
