Objekt 11
Measuring instrument
Description
The instrument consists of a three-quarter circle with engraved graduations of 12°- 0° and 0°-12°, a swivel arm for degree indication, and a sinker. The use of the instrument is unclear. Presumably it is a so-called Schinzeug. This was used by surveyors working underground in mines to determine inclinations and cardinal points.
