Lidded cup
Description
The lidded cup shows a decoration of rectangular framed landscape paintings. Within the depiction on the saucer is the linked monogram HZ for the Basel Huber-Zäslin family. Since there was no manufactory for fine ceramics in Basel, orders were placed with outside manufactories.
