King Louis-Philippe with his son

Description

Louis-Philippe, the "Citizen King" (1773-1850, r. 1830-1848) catches his young son painting him on the wall as a caricature (no longer recognizable). Because of the shape of his head, the king was often depicted as a pear by French caricaturists.
