Description

Olga Vischer (1879-1963) was the daughter of the Basel manufacturer Wilhelm Vischer (1850-1886). In 1901, she married the Swiss builder and Art Nouveau architect Wilhelm Adolf Bernoulli (1869-1909). She founded the aid organization "Schweizer Bund", which brought thousands of malnourished German children to Switzerland every year after the end of the First World War and cared for them.
