Family of the spice merchant Tripet in Kleinbasel
Description
The interior provides an insight into the modest world of the middle bourgeoisie. In contrast to the other interiors exhibited here, the interior depicting the nine-member family of the spearman Tripet is characterized by sparse furnishings. In 1815, the family lived at the premises of their grocer's shop at Rheingasse 36 in Kleinbasel.
