Faience of the Zurich Manufactory
Description
The porcelain manufactory, founded in Kilchberg-Schooren in 1763 by representatives of the Zurich upper middle classes, not only produced vessels and figurines from the eponymous material porcelain. It also produced objects made of faience, pipe clay and earthenware. in 1790, the company ceased operations.
