Faience from Lunéville
Description
in 1730, the ceramist Jacques Chambrette founded a faience factory in Lunéville, which had been the residence of the Duke of Lorraine since 1702. The tableware produced there also reached Basel, 140 km away, which did not have its own production of fine ceramics.
