Differential thermometer according to Leslie
Description
The instrument is used to measure the radiation intensities resulting from the different absorption of the two glass spheres - sooted and not sooted. The differential thermometer was developed in the early 19th century by the Scottish mathematician and physicist John Leslie (1766-1832).
