Description
Johann Jacob Brosy was baptized on June 25, 1748. He made spinets, clavichords and later also table pianos. He also took care of instruments in private households in Basel and the organs in the city.
Invoice records in the State Archives of Basel City attest to the fact that he also occasionally had to repair Schweickart's commode organ on display in the house of Peter Ochs.
