Coffee cup with saucer

Description

Porcelain low handled cups with saucers were popular drinking vessels for coffee. Since porcelain is a poor conductor of heat, the material is particularly suitable for drinking vessels for hot beverages. The onglaze painting of this cup shows a bouquet of flowers in the curved cartouche.
